Election Day

When to vote

The election is May 8, 2012. All polls will be open from 6:30 AM to 7:30 PM.

Where to vote

If you are not sure where your voting location is located, please visit the Secretary of State website. By filling in your information, you will be able to find your polling location.

Once you find your precinct number and polling place, visit the Kanawha County Clerk list of polling place locations to find the address of where to vote.

If you need help getting directions to your voting location, visit Google Maps.

Absentee Voting

How to vote

If you are unable to visit the polls during early voting or on election day, you may be eligible to vote by absentee ballot. Absentee ballots must be sent to an out-of-county address. The Secretary of State explains how to request an absentee ballot.

When to vote

Your application to vote by mail must be received no later than the 6th day before the election.

Absentee ballots are currently available for request and will be mailed within six weeks of the election.
